PHILOSOPHY BRAINSTORMING: Who am I? What do I believe about life, truth, my future? What do I believe is my purpose? How does the way I live and approach life reflect who I am and what I value?
Think about what texts that we’ve read specifically connect to me
Big ideas, images, lines, etc.

Life as we know it in today's world is extremely political and completely eliminates the simple reaction of emotion that us human beings should be allowed to produce. In an effort to express our feelings, one often will be criticized or demoralized by the local bully or even his own parents. As a result, we often tend to strive to be like the proclaimed people glorified through the media and lose the traits the make us "us". What most of us don't understand is that those movie stars or athletes who are generating large amounts of revenue are simply being themselves. They are simply just living life. In today's age, the simple concept of just living is complicated into what is the "cool" thing to do, what is the "status quo", and what can I do to be liked more. As one processes these overly analyzed questions through his brain, there really should be no answer or, for that matter, any thinking developing at all. According to the great words of William Shakespeare, "God has given you one face, and you make yourself another." Just live life the way you know how to live it and everything will be good.

What extraordinary spiritual freedom and peace such simplification can bring.
We who could choose simplicity, choose complication freedom to succeed
Almost every man wastes part of his life in attempts to display qualities which he does not possess
No man can climb out beyond the limitations of his own character
Every time you don't follow your inner, you feel a loss of energy, loss of power
A sense of spiritual deadness.

I shall break all the chains of the earth, and raze the cities of the enslaved
My home will become the capital of a world where each man will be free to exist for his own sake
That he must take himself for better, for worse, as his portion
We will walk on our own feet. we will work with our own hands,
we will speak our own minds...
We forget all men, all laws; we have discovered a new power of nature

I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear
I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life
To drive life into a corner and publish its meanness to the world

I wish'd to live without committing any fault at any time
I would conquer all that either natural inclination, custom, or company might lead me into
For this is the wrong way
It's just a minor thing and we're just minor kings
And to be yourself is all you can do

Mix it up, just mix it up
The sum of all the parts when you add it up
Make much more than what you had I tell you what it's like mad
The baddest thing that you ever had
A beautiful disaster

A man apart from men so he could live his life
Irreproachable in outward act, yet shrouded in dismal suspicions
Kind and loving, though unloved, and dimly feared
Ain't got no time for no haters
You got designer shades, just to hide your face
You where them around, just like your cooler than you
For what the hell is wrong with expressing yourselffaceless-composition-photo-manipulation.jpg
Being who you want to be
Who the hell is it you try to impress
All you have to do is learn to care less
'Cause what the hell is wrong with expressing yourself
For wanting to be you

Intuition is our capacity to know things spontaneously and immediately through our emotions
Rather than through our reasoning abilities
I find sometimes it's easy to be myself
Sometimes I find it's harder to be somebody else
There is no rock bottom to the life
A man way out there in the blue, riding on a smile and a shoeshine

She has a voice of gladness, and a smile and eloquence of beauty, and she glides
